Specific Skills

A Current registration with AHPRA
Medication management
Proficiency in using smartphones and applications (e.g., Microsoft Outlook)
At least 6-12 months of professional experience (experience in caring for the elderly is advantageous)
Must hold a valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance or be willing to obtain one.
Up to date vaccination as per Australian Government Regulations, including but not limited to Influenza and COVID19
Must hold a valid Manual Handling Certificate
Must hold a valid FIRST AID

Responsible For

Provide direct care to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse or other healthcare professionals.
Ability to work independently without clinical support.
Regularly monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiratory rate.
Assist in the assessment and management of wounds, including dressing changes and monitoring healing progress.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including observations, interventions, and outcomes.
Effectively communicate with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure coordinated and patient-centered care.
