Specific Skills

Minimum 6 months of professional experience in Cleaning industry.
Understanding of the proper use and safety concerns of cleaning chemicals and implements.
Must have valid Manual Handling Certificates or be willing to obtain one.
Valid NDIS Worker Screening check or be willing to obtain one.
Up to date vaccination as per Australian Government Regulations, including but not limited to Influenza and COVID19.
Must hold Australian Driving Licence.

Responsible For

General Cleaning: This includes dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning ceiling vents, restrooms, and windows.
Sanitizing: Especially in areas like bathrooms and kitchens, sanitizing to prevent the spread of germs is a key task, involving cleaning fixtures, mirrors, and walls.
Trash Disposal: Emptying waste bins and ensuring trash is properly segregated and disposed of, according to recycling and waste management guidelines.
Restocking Supplies: Ensuring that consumables, such as toilet paper, hand soap, and hand towels, are adequately stocked.
Floor Care: Depending on the type of flooring, this could involve polishing, sealing, or applying specific treatments like waxing.
Safety Practices: Following health and safety standards to prevent cross-contamination and injury. This includes the proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
